Emergency Overview
Use personal protective equipment when using reagent. Isopropanol is a flammable liquid and vapor. Vapors may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and irritation of respiratory tract. Reagent is hygroscopic. Aspiration hazard if swallowed - can enter lungs and cause damage. If any of these events occur, move to fresh air, and obtain medical attention. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces, and sources of ignition. Avoid contact with skin. In case of contact, wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention.
