Hold your analytes, samples, and solutions securely in the Clear Glass 12 x 32 mm Snap Neck Total Recovery Vial, with Cap and PTFE/silicone Septum. The clear glass vial has been designed especially for the use of the side drawport needle and the factory needle draws depth settings of the Waters Alliance 2690/2695 HPLC. The vial can deliver a maximum sample capacity of ~1 mL with a minimum residual volume of ~9 μL.
Is the ideal lab equipment that is recommended for multiple injections and sample storage. This is because the PTFE/Silicone septum of the vial exhibits outstanding resealing characteristics. Until the septum is punctured, it has PTFE chemical resistance. Once punctured, the septum will have the chemical compatibility of silicone. It also offers an operating temperature range from -40 ˚C to 200 ˚C.
Offers excellent sealing with its snap cap mechanism. Snap caps are an extension of the crimp cap system of sealing and work through a simple mechanism. A plastic cap is stretched over the rim of the vial to form a seal by squeezing the septum between the glass and the stretched plastic cap. Tension is created when the plastic cap tries to return to its original size. This tension forms the seal between glass, cap, and septum. No tools are required for the assembly of the plastic snap caps.
