All LII Multiple Analyte Set A, B, and C Drugs of Abuse Calibrators and Controls are liquid and ready-to-use. These products do not possess any particularly distinctive technical features. Each calibrator and control contains a known concentration of a specific drug analyte in a mixture. The Negative DAU Calibrator consists of processed, drug-free human urine with sodium azide (0.09%) as a preservative. The Low, Cutoff, Intermediate, and High Calibrators, along with the two levels of Controls, are prepared by adding known concentrations of drug analytes to the Negative DAU Calibrator matrix.
